Lets talk about your Wedding Ceremony. Make it special by adding some LIVE music – don’t know where to start? I’m bursting with ideas and have laid them out for you below.
String Ensemble / String Quartet – Such a grand way to start your wedding. Not only can our musicians play classical songs to walk you down the aisle such as Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’, but pop songs too…imagine walking out to Stevie Wonder’s, ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ or Elvis Presley’s, ‘Pledging My Love’ . WHAT A FEELING!!
Harpist – Is there anything that can beat the classical sound of a beautiful harp? I’m being a little bias here as Tom played me down the aisle at my wedding – but it has to be the most romantic option to go for. He played as guests entered the room, as I walked down the aisle, then as we signed the register and again as guests walked out. ARHG…even writing it down brings back beautiful memories.
Roaming Band – Imagine this…three or four chaps sitting on seats at the back , suited, booted, just like any other guest, then BOOM…out of nowhere as the bride walks down the aisle they pop up and play your chosen song – not only with the most beautiful harmonies you have ever heard, but with smiles that can’t help to make your day even more special. Follow this up by them performing during the signing of the register and then as your guests leave, is has to be THE BEST start entertainment/live music wise to a wedding there ever was. Absolutely perfect for outdoor ceremony’s like Marianne and Ray’s below.
Acoustic Solo Guitarist / Singer – One of our most popular options is to book Jay for the ceremony and afternoon reception as solo performer and then the full band, Rocking Steady, for the evening reception. Jay simply has the most awesome voice. If you are wanting contemporary songs playing during your ceremony he is the perfect choice. Imagine walking in with him singing Jason Mrazs’ ‘I’m Yours’ and while you are signing the register performing songs such as Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking out Loud’ and Al Green’s ‘Lets Stay Together’.
Flamenco Guitarist – David needs no introduction. HE IS INSANELY GOOD when it comes to playing guitar. He plays a mixture of styles from traditional classical Spanish repertoire, well-known pop songs arranged for solo guitar to passionate and energetic flamenco. Perfect background music for not only the ceremony, but the drinks reception and wedding breakfast too.
Brass Band – Oompah Brass went down a STORM at Jane and Tom’s Wedding. They played as guests were seated, as the bride walked down the aisle, as the register was being signed and then as guests left. The band hung around to play in the drinks reception after the ceremony and were epic. Such a quirky option to go for if you are looking for something a little different .
